Our client is a New Zealand owned and operated specialist I.T Support company. They provide remote support, onsite support, workshop and server maintenance, so businesses can outsource the service and support of their entire IT network for complete peace of mind.

The Role:
On their behalf we are looking for a switched-on person to take on a dual internal support role, for their team in East Tamaki.

This an office-based, internal support function, responsible for coordinating project delivery and sales administration, which will involve creating jobs, preparing quotes, scheduling the right engineers to work on the job, and booking their onsite visits and communicating with the client throughout the process.

The role will also support the sales function of the business and will involve internal sales administration duties, as well as being support to the field-based sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer service tasks, resolving client queries, and managing sales enquiries.
  • Coordinate the service delivery of project work.
  • Book the right engineers to complete work, ensuring enough time is allowed for each project
  • Managing the engineer’s work calendar and schedules
  • Constant follow up on tickets, rescheduling work when required.
  • Communicating with clients at every stage
  • Ensuring allocated hours to each project are adhered to
  • Provide sales administration support to the sales team.
  • Follow up all open jobs until they are closed.
  • Finalising job administration and closing the job
  • Prepare quotations for hardware
  • Process orders accurately.
  • Maintain and update client databases, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
  • Learn and utilize various internal systems and online order portals for multiple resellers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, communications, and transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal team members.


Skills/Experience Required:

  • Ideally have similar experience, from another MSP environment
  • Efficient communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong administration skills, and good systems orientation
  • Proactive, organised work habits. Diligent follow up skills
  • Organised. Good time management. Deadline driven.
  • Able to juggle competing tasks and not drop the ball.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Upbeat positive attitude. Piles of initiative. Can-do attitude
  • Preference will go to those who have experience in a service scheduling environment, sales support, or an internal sales function.
  • IT experience will be welcomed. (Level 2 knowledge would be awesome)
  • You will thrive in a busy environment, be keen to keep on learning and enjoy working with a very supportive and friendly team.
