Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and controlled demolition, with a strong focus on safety and precision. This role requires a hands-on approach to the demolition process, including the safe removal of materials, working in a fast-paced environment, and following strict health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform heavy lifting and operate demolition equipment.
Assist with controlled demolition tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Safely remove and dispose of debris and hazardous materials.
Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Work closely with the site supervisor and other team members to ensure project time lines are met.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organised work site.
Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in demolition, construction, or heavy manual labor roles.
Knowledge of controlled demolition techniques and equipment.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
Familiarity with safety protocols and health and safety standards.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
Health and safety certifications are an advantage.
Relevant demolition or construction experience.
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
