We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Assistance Specialist to join our dynamic team and provide top-tier support to our customers.
As a Financial Assistance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer cases with a focus on delivering the best possible financial outcomes for both our clients and the bank.
You will use your expertise to ensure each case is handled efficiently, meeting targets while maintaining the ASB brand's reputation for high standards of service and professionalism.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide tailored solutions that achieve the best financial outcomes for customers, considering both customer needs and bank objectives.
- Manage a high volume of cases effectively, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of outcomes.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, consulting when decisions exceed your limits of authority.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in all interactions, particularly under pressure or when managing competing priorities.
- Ensure adherence to all ASB policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team success.
- Manage workload effectively, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

- Proven ability to make quality decisions, ensuring the best possible outcome for all parties.

- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with ASB systems, including PCC, or similar applications.
- Experience in a financial services environment is advantageous.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong understanding of ASB's policies and the ability to communicate and implement them effectively.
