Our Product Governance team within Business & Corporate banking is responsible for end to end management of product governance of our business and corporate banking products. We focus on creating, developing and executing product governance strategies, maintain and monitor conduct performance across products and elevate the product assurance framework. Ultimately our work supports the achievement of Good Customer Outcomes (GCO) and an unbeatable customer and team experience.
Te tūranga | The role:
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll work alongside the Head of Product Governance in driving the end to end governance and compliance management of all Business Banking & Corporate Banking products and demonstrating the performance of Business Banking and Corporate Banking products at the Product Governance forums.
This includes performing comprehensive product reviews, over-seeing product development, undertaking product monitoring and representing the division as product conduct SME on regulatory engagements, working groups and forums. You'll also be accountable for fostering a continuous learning culture within your team and the division.
This is a secondment until June 2025, based at North Wharf.

The successful candidate will ideally have a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, supported by experience in product management or Line 1 or 2 compliance. Familiarity with Business and Corporate banking products, channel distribution knowledge, operations and processes is an advantage.
You'll have a customer-centric mindset with strong capability to influence senior leaders, drive outcomes, improve our product conduct and comfortable engaging at executive level. Open to new ideas, you have an ability to present compelling proposals and strategic recommendations and bring your stakeholders on a journey. A talent for getting the best out of people through empowerment and recognition will set the team up for success.
