The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the country. We are looking for experienced Driver Operators to provide support within the Rangitīkei District out of our Marton & Taihape depots.

We are looking for:

  • Grader Operators
  • Wheeled Excavator Operators
  • Tracked Excavator Operators
  • Truck/Trailer drivers
  • General Plant and Machinery Operators
  • Please note that these roles will not start until July 2025.

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you.

  • Class 2, 4, 5 or WTR license
  • Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
  • Be reliable and hard working
  • Show commitment to safe work practises
  • Assist with call-out work as required.
  • Have a positive 'can do' attitude
