• Fri 6, Sat 7, Sun 8 December 2024: Basin Reserve (Wellington)
• Sat 14, Sun 15, Mon 16 December 2024: Seddon Park (Hamilton)
• Sun 5 Jan 2025: Basin Reserve (Wellington)
• Wed 8 Jan 2025: Seddon Park (Hamilton)
• Sat 11 Jan 2025: Eden Park (Auckland)
• Sat 29 Mar 2025: McLean Park (Napier)
• Wed 2 April 2025: Seddon Park (Hamilton)
• Sat 5 April 2025: Bay Oval (Tauranga)

Ideally you are available to travel and work on all dates listed above. Hours will vary. Must be available between 11am-4pm each day.

Requirements

• Height in cm must be included in your application. The chicken suit is adjustable, but we need to make sure it fits.
• Must be comfortable in a chicken suit—no fear of feathers here!
• Energetic and outgoing personality—must love to entertain a crowd.
• Ability to dance. Experience in performance or dance is a plus, but enthusiasm is what counts (we won’t judge your dance moves)!

Role Responsibilities

• Strut your stuff at cricket tests and ODI’s as our beloved Tegel chicken
• mascot.
• Hand out branded merchandise and interact with fans (kids and adults), while clucking up a storm!
• Dance like you’re in a music video and bring the fun to every appearance.
• Bring your own expert improvisation skills to handle unexpected situations (like over-enthusiastic hugs).
• Help promote the Tegel brand with a flair that only a giant chicken can deliver!
