Training Compliance Lead Jobs in New Zealand

We are a chartered accounting firm in Katikati, and we are currently seeking a skilled accountant/accounting technician to join our team for 3 days a week with the potential to turn into full-time. This firm is known for its commitment to providing exceptional accounting and advisory services, fostering a collaborative work environment, and supporting professional growth.

In this role, you'll be managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services, and ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Chartered Accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents.
• Client relationship management, ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
• Providing advisory services such as budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Utilizing accounting software, including Xero, Suite files and Figured, to maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve firm objectives and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chartered accounting firm.
• CA or CPA qualification (or progress towards it) is a bonus.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Xero.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
