About the role

As a 3PL Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. From managing third-party partnerships to optimising inventory levels, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and maximizing performance.

We are looking for an experienced, hands on Warehouse Supervisor to join our Hamilton team in the Ruakura Superhub.

In this full time role you will be responsible for all inbound/outbound activities in our 3PL Warehouse as well as leading a team to ensure that the productivity, quality and overall performance continues to meet our high expectations. Our customers are a key focus for us and we aim to provide a fantastic service to them, you will be a key part in making this happen.

Key tasks:

• Supervising the operation.
• Lead and inspire a team of logistics professionals to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop labour models and productivity tracking tools to manage the day-to-day work plan.
• Maintain storage area by organising floor space; adhering to storage design principles; and recommending improvements.
• Interface with customers to build robust relationships.
• Lead the implementation of new customers.
• Maintain inventory by conducting physical counts and assisting the Inventory Controller with reconciling variances and conducting investigations and corrective actions where required.
• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Ensure that health and safety procedures are met and your team is safe at all times.

A current OSH approved Forklift and Reach Truck licence and experience operating a reach truck is required.

Prior experience in chilled and frozen is preferred but not required.
