Fleetline are looking for a CAD Designer to join our team at our Henderson, Auckland site.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Experience in FRP design and mould & plug design
- Familiarity with 3D scanning processes
- Knowledge of CNC Router programming & machine operation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- NZ Drivers Licence.
- NZ Citizenship or NZ residency
- Ability to work individually unsupervised, or well in a small team.
- The ability to accept review, and offer suggestion or opinion.
- A focus on continual improvement and quality.
- The ability to work on multiple projects and solutions in a high paced environment
Responsibilities:
- 3D Design and Drafting of custom parts and components
- Design of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) parts, ensuring precision and quality
- Creation of Mould & Plug Designs for manufacturing processes
- Utilize 3D Scanning techniques for accurate measurements and designs
- Program and operate CNC Routers to bring designs to life
