Job Description
As the Drainage Senior Supervisor – Planned, based in our Albany office, your primary responsibility will be to manage and lead the leading hands, supervisors, and field crews involved in planned maintenance activities for wastewater and stormwater reticulation.
You will be expected to plan, organize, direct, and control the activities and operations of all staff reporting to you, ensuring that work is completed to the satisfaction of our customers. Your tasks will include but not limited to
- Management of escalated repairs from reactive team
- Remedial repairs and minor construction activities
- Planned and routine inspections
- Compliance with Corporate activities and contract management
- Active participation in client meetings and contract reporting

You will be a passionate, highly organised Supervisor with a talent for prioritising and managing a fast-paced, high-volume workload with a can-do attitude. In addition, it is essential to have the following:
- New Zealand engineering qualification such as a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a qualification in Project/Contract Management.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential.
- Knowledge of confined space protocols and hazard awareness training.
- Experience supervising drainage reticulation teams.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within cost, time, and budget constraints.
- Experience in pricing works accurately.
- Strong team-building and relationship development skills.
- A commitment to Health and Safety at all times.
