We’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our OneRoof team and continue our exciting growth across NZ. Have you got what it takes?

THE OPPORTUNITY: As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in generating revenue through proactive, customer-focused account management. Covering the Dunedin region, your main objective will be to achieve sales targets and growth for the Real Estate category by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT: You'll be the go-to expert, providing profitable, high-quality media solutions that align with NZME’s strategies, enhancing our reputation as the media partner of choice for businesses across New Zealand. To excel in this role, you will:

  • Regularly meet with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business needs, providing solutions that maximize value.
  • Develop annual strategies for key accounts, focusing on growth and yield targets.
  • Lead the charge on new business development within the Real Estate category, identifying opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Champion the full range of NZME’s products to deliver comprehensive advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Accurately track and report on sales performance, market trends, and client activities to keep management informed.
  • Uphold NZME’s core values by always putting the audience first and demonstrating leadership and innovation in your approach.


ABOUT YOU:

  • A degree in commerce or media studies and 2+ years’ experience in account management, preferably in a high-energy, sales-driven environment.
  • Strong customer service ethic, continuously looking for opportunities to improve customer service and engagement through intensified relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to build trust with clients’, other team members and stakeholders.
