Job Description

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 1-year relevant construction experience
  • Class 2 or 4


CanRecruit is seeking up to seven dependable Class 2 and/or 4 hydrovac operators.

Position Details

  • Locations: Auckland, Canterbury, Wellington and Otago
  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)
  • Hours: Monday to Saturday
  • Pay Rate: $29.66 per hour
  • Experience Required: 1-year relevant construction experience
  • Driver license: Class 2 or 4


Key Responsibilities

  • Driving heavy vehicle/excavator to construction sites
  • Preparing and operating heavy vehicle/excavator (hydro flushing/jetting & hydro excavation)
  • Maintaining truck/excavator
  • Keeping records
  • Following safe operating procedures
  • Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test Must be able to pass a MOJ check
