Job Description

Class 5 Civil

We are seeking a Class 5 bulk tipper / spreading driver based in the Bay of Plenty area.

This role is for a Construction type Truck and Trailer Driver. We do a lot of Spreading metal, Metal Cartage for Farm races, Forest roading and other applicable construction type activities.

Role and responsibilities

  • Assisting on site
  • Safe Reversing practicing and Jack-knifing experience
  • Tipping / Spreading experience.
  • Basic maintenance and plant cleaning
  • Work with team members for a seamless environment
  • Understand full H&S for driving on civil site.
  • Work productively.


Role Requirements

  • A clean, class 5 driver license,
  • WTR endorsements beneficial not essential
  • A strong background in operating road ranger
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Experience with tipper trucks
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working on civil projects.
  • Good health and safety skills
  • Knowledge of NZ transport laws
  • Ability to competently complete pre-start checks.
  • Competently complete logbook requirements
