About the Role:

As a high-impact leader, reporting to an Area Manager, you will be passionate about delivering amazing learning outcomes for our children and you'll take pride in the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre! Being a great communicator and building fantastic relationships will be in your DNA. 

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 

Licensed for 50 tamariki, we have 2 dedicated classrooms designed to support children in each age group as they learn and grow. Our Poumahaka Room is designed for our under 2 year old children, in this space we harmonize with the natural rhythms of each child's and whānau's routines, ensuring a joyful and nurturing environment for everyone. In our Mata-au Room, for our over 2 year old children, we are committed to nurturing each child’s social and emotional growth, guiding them with care and compassion.

Role requirements: 

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: 

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
  • Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, pedagogy and curriculum 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
  • You’ll be known for being a great coach, who can unlock the potential of others
  • You are an innovator, both in input and output – being part of simplifying the way we do things excites you!
