About the Role

As our National Sales Manager, you will collaborate with the SLT to build our business strategy and lead the sales function for the organisation across all regions. With an enterprise mindset you will develop and execute sales plans, drive initiatives, own the demand planning function of the S&OP process and lead the sales team’s discipline and impact. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and driving a team of almost twenty across our key sales channels.

In this role you will;

  • Spearhead the development and execution of sales strategies, harnessing data and relentlessly reviewing performance and quote conversion.
  • Uncovering insights to optimise our call cycles, service & product offerings and sales plans to drive continuous growth.
  • Lead and develop the national sales team, fostering a high-performance culture of customer service.
  • Forge strong relationships with key customers and influential partners, providing them valuable with valuable support and solutions, unlocking new business opportunities and solidifying our position as a trusted industry partner.
  • Champion internal cross-functional collaboration, working closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations team to ensure alignment around demand plans, customer activations & excellence in execution of our project workstreams.
  • Be the voice of our customer, advocating their needs and preferences and championing initiatives to meet and exceed their expectations.


About You

You will be a highly market orientated and commercial individual whose relationship skills will prove invaluable. With vision, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence you will be instrumental in shaping our future and solidifying our position as an industry leader. You’ll model a strong customer service culture, and build and foster positive relationships between the sales team, to ensure high level service delivery. You’ll need:

  • Prior experience in leading a sales function and high performing teams within large organisations.
  • Passion for creating well-defined sales plans and proven experience supporting and developing sales leads performance against these plans.
  • Good discipline around core customer centric sales processes such as customer business reviews, call cycle management and customer proposal development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
  • A critical thinker, able to navigate complexity, prioritise effectively and drive initiative to successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Significant experience driving demand planning discipline and forecast accuracy.
  • Degree in Business or Commerce is preferred.
