The Role

Fisher and Paykel ecosystems connect the virtual and physical worlds using the internet of things (IoT) and intelligently integrate and automate the whole of home based on real-life scenario’s, with remote management and control of appliances via smartphones, access to rich content, services and experiences and connections with other ecosystems; providing integrated access to the many smart home devices and services around the world.

About the role:

As the connected ecosystem Product Manager for our Home Solutions business, you will own and drive the global IoT and connected ecosystem strategy and direction of the Home Solutions products and lead the end-to-end delivery of compelling Home Solutions experiences and solutions with cross-functional collaboration, alignment and prioritisation – creating a seamless connection between the physical and digital worlds of Fisher & Paykel.

Product Leadership:

  • Define, develop, evolve, and communicate the connected ecosystem strategy and vision for the product and solutions, representing the voice of the customer and ensuring brand alignment.


  • Maximise the value of the products by monitoring the market, competitors, customer usage and developments across the Haier group’s connected capabilities to create and manage the product roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle.


Product Delivery:

  • Lead the tactical product delivery activities working with the wider connected ecosystem team and Fisher & Paykel business, to deliver new connected products and offerings including content and experiences.


  • Operate as the subject matter expert for the product and integrations.


Product Performance:

  • Develop, track and report against key performance indicators and commercial targets, taking steps to ensure success.


  • Work with the go to market teams to drive feature, function and service penetration, and deliver short and long-term strategic objectives.


What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years experience in digital product management in a large consumer organisation offering mobile applications or software as a service.


  • Proven knowledge and experience using innovation processes such as Design Thinking, Lean Start up and Agile to achieve successful outcomes.


  • Proficient knowledge of connected appliance user experience, functionality and protocols.


  • Experience developing productive ‘win win’ partnerships internally and externally.
