We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager, who will have a significant impact on improving strategic outcomes across the Supply Chain and the wider business. The Project Manager will work closely with senior business leaders to identify objectives, ensure alignment with proposed solutions, and drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will lead strategic supply chain initiatives, manage project governance, and ensure alignment and clarity in processes. You'll influence key stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on scope, time, cost, and quality, and apply process excellence to enhance efficiency and standardise processes.
You will oversee project frameworks across the supply chain, using project management methodologies for continuous improvement. Key tasks include implementing tracking and reporting routines, providing comprehensive reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and building and leading project teams.
Your role involves analysing business processes to identify transformation opportunities, collaborating with distribution sites, ensuring efficient order management, tracking project progress, and engaging stakeholders. You will deliver detailed analysis, improve supply chain operations, and develop project timelines and transformation roadmaps.
Criteria and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project delivery or managing 3-5 full-cycle projects, with experience in supply chain transformation projects.
- A combination of theoretical understanding and practical experience in FMCG or professional environments where project management principles are applied.
- Preferred background in Supply Chain with experience in digital transformation and system implementation.
- Proven track record of collaborating closely with IT teams and a comprehensive understanding of business requirements. Proficiency in understanding tasks and having experience in managing complex testing that involves different groups of people and multiple workstreams coming together.
- Confidence in picking up and managing medium-high complexity projects, effective communication skills, and leadership abilities.
- Assertive and resilient, capable of handling conflicts tactfully and interacting with both senior management and ground-level staff.
- Additionally, proficiency or experience in implementation management is highly desirable.
