Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate/Associate to join their team in Auckland. This role presents the chance to work on market-leading corporate work, advising on cross-border M&A and investment transactions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with clients from diverse industries such as forestry, agriculture, wine, food processing, insurance and financial services, technology and venture capital sectors.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Associate/Associate, your role will be pivotal in advising on cross-border M&A and investment transactions. You will also provide expert advice on joint ventures and commercial contracts. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to engage confidently with clients from diverse industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden your horizons through international training opportunities.

  • Advising on cross-border M&A and investment transactions
  • Advising on joint ventures and commercial contracts
  • Advise clients involved in a diverse range of industries including particularly the forestry, agriculture, wine, food processing, insurance and financial services, technology and venture capital sectors.
  • Maintain professional presentation and engage confidently and effectively with clients


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Associate/Associate position will bring at least 4 years PQE in a corporate or commercial team. Your relevant industry experience coupled with your exceptional academic achievements set you apart. You possess superior technical skills that allow you to excel in your role. Your professional presentation skills enable you to engage confidently and effectively with clients. Experience working on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts is essential.
