We are seeking a Licensing Compliance Officer to provide responsive and professional regulatory services across our licensing compliance portfolio. This role focuses on delivering expert advice and inspection functions while ensuring regulatory adherence and balancing public safety with customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting licensed premises, investigating complaints, and contributing to local and central government licensing compliance requirements. You will exercise powers under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, act as a Litter Control and Parking Enforcement Officer, and provide technical compliance advice across multiple regulatory domains.
We are seeking a professional with two to three years of enforcement/regulatory experience, demonstrating strong technical judgment, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will effectively balance customer satisfaction with sustainable economic development and public safety objectives.
You will need highly developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a customer-focused approach. Technical expertise, sound decision-making, and the capacity to navigate complex regulatory environments are essential.
