Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Assistant (EA) to provide core executive support to two busy General Managers. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with senior leaders to ensure smooth and efficient operations. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to two General Managers, managing schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal forms.
  • Proactively identify key issues, potential risks, and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Assist in the evaluation of information and decision-making processes.
  • Work independently, demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and outcomes.
  • Use Microsoft products and Adobe Acrobat proficiently.


Key Attributes We Are Looking For:

  • Experience managing multiple General Managers: Proven track record in supporting senior leaders, ideally with a strong understanding of the needs of General Managers.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues and risks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Sound judgement: Ability to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • Stakeholder management: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team collaboration: Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Understanding of political landscape: Awareness of the current political landscape and the Machinery of Government is highly desirable.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to manage time, priorities, and workload effectively.
  • Adaptability: Able to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
  • Attention to detail: Demonstrating thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks.


Desirable:

Experience working with senior leaders or executives is advantageous but not required.
