Role Overview:
Responsibilities: You’ll be maintaining and repairing the water reticulation network, which includes servicing valves and hydrants, installing water main pipes/connections, and repairing leaks and service pipes.
Schedule: Full-time, must be flexible with days and happy to work long days.
Work Environment: This job involves both independent work and team collaboration, with a focus on health, safety, and physical fitness.
What You’ll Need:
Experience: 2-5+ years in a similar role or relevant industry experience.
Physical Fitness: The role requires someone who is physically fit and can handle the physical demands of the job.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the plant and equipment used in water reticulation activities.
Driver’s Licence: A full class 1 licence is essential; endorsements for wheels, tracks, and rollers are advantageous.
Certifications: A NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3 or 4) is a plus but not required, as they’re willing to help candidates obtain this qualification if needed.
Additional Requirements:
Pre-employment Checks: Criminal background reports, medical assessments, and drug testing is done.
Must be a NZ Resident or Citizen to be considered for this role.
