About the Role:
BestStart Albany is currently seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. With increased occupancy, our center is bustling with activity, and we're excited to welcome a new team member to support our Preschool.
Nestled within our facility is a sprawling outdoor area, perfect for fostering exploration and outdoor learning experiences. Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:·
- Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki·
- Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki’s learning·
- Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary·
- Support centre operations at all levels
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
