Responsibilities:
This accounting role is broad and will evolve as the company continues to grow. Core responsibilities include:
Payroll for 100+ employees for New Zealand and Australia
Accounts Payable and Receivable for New Zealand and Australia
Assist and provide a backup for transactional processes including importing payments, processing Direct Debits and refunds
Assist with maintaining the accuracy of the general ledgers
Assist with maintaining and reconciling the fixed asset registers
Assist with month-end processes and journals for New Zealand and Australia
Assist with external audit processes during interim reviews and annual audits for New Zealand and Australia
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring they are on time and reviewed monthly for New Zealand and Australia
Respond to ad hoc business unit reporting requests as required
Assist with B Corp/ B Impact annual audits
The Ideal Candidate:
This is a great role for someone who has a solid few years accounting experience in hands-on transactional roles or an Assistant Accountant role who is looking for a move to a broader role.

Ideally you will have a qualification in accounting with the experience to jump into a hands-on role and thrive in a business that is rapidly expanding and ever evolving.
Naturally good communication skills coupled with a flexible and adaptable approach to your work (things can change quickly day to day!).
