Qualified Traffic Controllers wanted!!
Onestaff Dunedin is the leading supplier of temporary staff to a number of large Civil Roading and construction Companies in Dunedin. Our clients are busy and they require Qualified Traffic Controllers (min TTM ww) to assist them with the management of traffic and pedestrian movement across various locations in and around Dunedin and Otago. We are looking for qualified people to join our Traffic Control roster.

These roles are varied, and an ideal opportunity to kick off a civil career

Job Description
You will be working in a team environment under the guidance and instruction of experienced staff, ensuring that fellow employees and the public are kept safe as they move through the work-site. A current traffic control qualification is ideal, however not necessary.

Tasks include:

  • Assisting the Site Supervisor by placing signage and cones at the location of work
  • Communicating with fellow Traffic Controllers, using a hand-held radio to ensure the smooth flow of traffic through the work-site
  • Clearly communicating with the public in a friendly manner


Job Requirements:

  • Current Traffic control qualifications - Minimum TTM ww
  • Current NZ Drivers licence
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Team Player
  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time in varying weather conditions
