We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Mail Sorter/ Driver in Whanganui.

Here's what you'll do…

You'll start your day by preparing and accurately sorting mail, and sorting parcels in our branch for delivery. Then, assist in the dispatch and transfer to ensure on-time delivery.

For the Driver part of the shift, you will support as a Driver in the collection & delivery of freight & mail from various locations within the Whanganui area. You will also liaise with the team and support them where required.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Whanganui. The role will have Monday to Friday shifts 2:00pm – 10:00pm.

What we're looking for…

Some of the key things you'll need to perform this role successfully are:

• Available to work from Monday to Friday (with flexible start & finish times depending on daily mail volumes)
• Flexible, reliable and have attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg
• A 'can do' attitude and likes to get the job done.
• Good numeracy and reading skills
• Geographical knowledge of NZ
• Passionate about keeping customers happy
• High regard for Health & Safety standards
• Must have a valid full class 1 driver's license
