Lead test design and risk mitigation for Open Banking and Enterprise APIs, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities beyond business requirements. Collaborate with developers to create automated checks and work with your Agile team to understand business needs and systems. Reproduce customer defects, debug root causes, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to team commitments beyond testing.

What you’ll do | Ngā mahi​

Be part of delivery team who are leading the way with Open Banking APIs and Enterprise APIs​

• Take a leadership approach in thinking critically and laterally about test design, mitigating project risks through an appropriate test approach, and exploring the application to expose vulnerabilities beyond the business requirements.​
• Work with developers to create appropriate automated checks using existing tools​
• Work with your agile team to develop a common understanding of the business requirements, and understanding underlying business intent, business procedures and systems.​
• Reproduces customer defect and debugs to identify root causes​
• Participate in agile ceremonies including stand up, retrospective, planning and​
• demonstration. Undertaking non-testing related activities to assist the team to deliver on its commitments.​

Essential:​

• Extensive knowledge of API Testing​
• Extensive experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Springboot,​
• JUnit, Rest-Assured​
• Building API Mocks and deploying them to use for Automation and Manual testing​
• White-box testing (code level), debugging​
• Building Postman collections (Java Script) to use in manual and exploratory API testing​
• Technical requirement analysis and documentation​
• Strong understanding of Swagger and Open API Specifications​
• Building SQL scripts to query SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2​
• Linux Command line scripting​
• Analysing Logs and application monitoring (Splunk, Dynatrace)​
• Good knowledge of CI practices, source code/version control and deployment tools (Jenkins,​
• GitHub, Bitbucket, AKS)​
• Innovative and out of the box thinking to overcome testing challenges​

• Release change management/implementationlead experience​ Knowledge working with Docker
