Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and provide all administrative functions required at a facility level, facilitating the provision of safe, effective, and high-quality service to our residents:

  • Maintain the administration function of the facility, including financial recording, reporting, and preparing documentation for admissions.
  • Provide reception and telephone cover, greet clients and visitors, and manage inquiries efficiently.
  • Promote Radius Residential Care and its services, conduct facility tours, and maintain an inquiries database.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and client comfort funds.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files, keep residents databases current, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support the Facility Manager in managing HR activities, including recruitment, staff orientation, payroll processing and rostering.
  • Support the Facility Manager with external and internal audit processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Friendly and welcoming, with excellent people skills
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide range of people, including visitors, facility staff, residents and their families
  • Administration skills and experience in financial management
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
  • Experience in care or management in a continuing care hospital or rest home facility is desirable.
