Easysteel is on the hunt for a results-driven Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team in Penrose, Auckland,(working across) the wider Auckland region. If you're a people-person with a knack for delivering outstanding sales results, and want to be part of a company that values innovation and collaboration—this role is for you!

Main responsibilities will see you:

  • Managing a diverse customer portfolio, driving sales growth, and seizing every opportunity to maximise profitability.
  • Building strong relationships and being the go-to person for your clients; understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions with the highest level of service.
  • Providing valuable market, competitor, and customer insights to guide strategic decision-making within our team.
  • Hitting the road to visit clients across the region, both new and existing, helping you stay connected and in tune with their needs, along with being comfortable helping around the sales office when needed
  • Collaborating with internal teams like the Area Manager, Sales, and Supply Chain, as well as build meaningful connections with external stakeholders—most importantly, your customers!


What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be in a current Sales/BDM role, from a Steel, Construction, or technically natured background.
  • You’re business-minded, financially savvy, and always looking for opportunities to drive value.
  • Your customer-centric nature, natural people skills and ability to solve problems make you a trusted partner for clients.
  • Confident using tools like Excel, Word, and company-specific systems—plus, you’re eager to learn more in a technical industry where your ability to pick up new product information is key.
  • You thrive in a team environment, but also know how to take charge and lead your day-to-day. Not afraid to ask for help and be aso be part of the solution for your team mates.
  • You're driven by the thrill of the hunt and thrive in the unique challenges that sales encompasses.
