Kia ora. We’re Foodies. You know New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square right? That’s us!
With 300+ stores and over 24,000 Foodies across Te Ika-a-Maui, our North Island Co-op has the privilege of helping New Zealanders get more out of life. Locally owned, we reflect the communities we serve, and we celebrate our people - our taonga, every day for being uniquely them.

Are you passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that make a real difference? Do you thrive on simplifying complex topics and ensuring that people are empowered to meet regulatory requirements? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Te Tūranga – About the role
As our Regulatory Trainer, you'll lead the charge in ensuring our people are equipped to navigate Grocery Market Regulation with confidence. Working across our Centre and Stores, you’ll be at the forefront of analysing learning needs and crafting solutions that align with our regulatory obligations.

You’ll be the go-to expert for learning content, driving improvements in our training journey and collaborating with stakeholders to bridge the gap between compliance and capability.

Key Responsibilities:
· Be the Compliance Training Champion: Establish yourself as the trusted stakeholder for all Grocery Market Regulation learning needs. Partner with Learning & Development, Retail Operations, and other key teams to deliver consistent and effective training frameworks.
· Knowledge Hub Ownership: Manage Line 2 knowledge hub pages, ensuring Q&A, FAQs, and resources are accurate, aligned with legal requirements, and practical for users. Oversee business unit hub pages for consistent messaging and availability.
· Training Content & Delivery: Collaborate with external vendors to deliver face-to-face training sessions, manage delegate allocations, and oversee budgets and schedules. Continuously improve the quality of training programmes through feedback and reviews.
· Auditability & Reporting: Maintain robust training records, ensuring audit trails meet compliance standards. Work with the Head of Regulatory Compliance to deliver quality reporting.

Ngā painga - What we offer
We’re committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefits:
· Free carparking - we’ve got over 1,000 carparks including 36 free EV plugs
· Southern cross health insurance, Foodies superannuation scheme
· Onsite café with subsidised meals, mini mart, 5% discount at our retail stores
· Flexible working options, a day off on your birthday, long service leave
· Inhouse learning and development programmes and courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes).
