About The Role
Based at our Highbrook branch, the Dangerous Goods Team Leader supervises our dedicated Dangerous Goods team in the monitoring and inspection of all dangerous goods moving throughout the network, whilst ensuring operations adhere to all legal and business requirements and standards.
The Dangerous Goods Team leader will exhibit strong dedication to Health and Safety at all times, and with a hands-on approach ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of our depot. You’ll work with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded and be a key driver in getting our customers’ freight to where it needs to be safely.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
About You:
Previous working experience in the logistics industry is desirable
Proven aptitude in leadership – motivating and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills
Ability to assist the branch manager with ensuring Health and Safety processes are followed
IATA DG training and qualifications are desirable
Proven aptitude in leadership – motivating and developing high-performing teams
Experience in working with operational performance metrics
