We are seeking a skilled labourer with building/construction or stonemason experience.
This role is Monday to Friday full time - 7.30am to 4.30pm
6months fixed term with the potential to go be taken on permanently.
You will primarily be working on on heritage buildings in and around Dunedin, repairing and replacing Oamaru and bluestone, and doing structural strengthening.
Duties will include: lifting stones, filling in stone gaps (pointing), cleaning and prepping of stone and applying epoxy sealers, mixing, drilling, fitting stones and other general labouring duties.
To be a successful applicant you will be phsycially fit, have experience as a stone mason, hammerhand or general construction site experience, and the ability to use handheld machinery.
Perhaps you have even been a farm hand and are good with fixing things.
This role is a practical hands on role and requires problem solving skills/initiative.
To fit well with the team, we are wanting somebody who is reliable, easy going and keen to get stuck in and get the job done right.
MUST have a Full or Restricted New Zealand Drivers Licence.
