Are you a student studying speech language therapy, psychology or early child education? This could be the perfect part time job or experience for you!

A family in Flat bush are looking for two enthusiastic students or experienced support workers who have worked with children with autism. Spread over 2 sessions a week, one person will be supporting their eldest son (6yrs old) and the other supporting their youngest (4 yrs old) to build communication and interaction skills. With support and mentoring from a speech therapist you can help create an impact in their lives. An understanding of how play is essential for young children to learn and building a trusting relationship will be key. Use your encouraging and creative skills to help them to grow.


The roles are based at the family home in Flat bush. Eldest son days are Thursdays after school hours (4 –5.30pm) and Saturdays 11am- 12.30pm. The role with the youngest son is Monday and Wednesday after school at 4 – 5.30pm.
