Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As the Manager Financial Crime Controls and Oversight, you will be a part of the Westpac New Zealand Limited (WNZL) Financial Crime Compliance Controls and Oversight team.
Working alongside the Senior Manager Financial Crime Controls and Oversight you will play a key role in the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of sustainable and robust financial crime systems to ensure that WNZL continues to meet its regulatory obligations and protect its customers and shareholders
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- Experience in risk assurance, and/or controls assurance in either Risk, Financial Crime or Technology,
- Experience in the banking sector or an organisation subject to regulatory oversight and compliance obligations,
- Experience in risk management governance with a focus on policy and oversight,
- Experience in technology or systems implementation, and/or providing technology support in an operational capacity,
- Demonstrable skills in complex analysis, risk management and problem solving,
- Demonstrable experience formulating and implementing strategy, and
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to articulate complex issues in simple language.
