What will you be doing with us?'
We have an opportunity of Food & Beverage Supervisor/ Cook to join our team at Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton. Permanent Full-time role, working 32 hours per week, Saturday to Tuesday.
You will be responsible for:
to supervise the performance of F&B team members
ensuring that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations
providing excellent customer service
to manage stock and deliveries arriving which would include lifting heavy packages
prepare single special items and bulk dishes for patient meals
assist with ordering and stock rotation
comply with Food safety standards and have a good understanding of food allergens
assist with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
Ideal skills and experience:
will be hard working,
have immaculate personal presentation and high standards of cleanliness,
a team player but also able to work autonomously,
with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude,
at least 2 years' previous supervisory experience and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to be train for one.
