Job Description

Downer have been appointed the Maintenance Contractor for the CRLL City Rail Link C3 project for a period of up to 30 years, the Asset Management and Maintenance Services contract (AMAS). This includes an initial role during the five-year construction period to provide maintenance input and drive Whole of Life (WoL) considerations on a best for project basis.

We are looking for someone who has excellent time management skills, is a great team player who shows initiative and is a lateral thinker to fill our Contract Administrator role for our AMAS contract.

The purpose of the Contract Administrator role is to ensure the effective running of the AMAS Operations and mobilisation department by providing a wide range of administrative support functions including;

  • Processing Work Orders
  • Raising Defects
  • Purchase Order Processing
  • Contract Documentation Reporting and Filing
  • Database Management
  • Preparing Claims and Invoices
  • Report Writing
  • Minute taking
  • Building presentations


Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Contract Administration.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use the suite of Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in maintenance contract claims is an advantage.
  • Understanding of local authority contracts is desirable.
  • Experience with JD Edwards’s database or SAP an advantage.
  • Strong Problem Solving skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Proactive approach and a sense of urgency.
  • Team player.
