At BestStart Taita, the magic of childhood is celebrated every day. Our centre isn’t just a place of learning — it’s a reflection of our values, community connections, and commitment to nurturing tamariki in a way that honours who they are and where they come from.
Our teaching philosophy is guided by Te Whāriki and inspired by the Curiosity Approach, creating a learning environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, create, and learn through meaningful interactions. We value inclusive practice, ensuring every child and whānau feels a genuine sense of belonging.
Our philosophy is symbolised by a vibrant six-petal poppy, each petal representing a key value woven into everything we do. Surrounded by Pasifika patterns, this image reflects our history as a converted RSA, our growth, and our enduring ties to our community.
