We have 10 fixed term Fruit Inspector positions available which require the availability to work flexible hours throughout the kiwifruit shipping season: March – November.
The purpose of these positions is to undertake Export Consignment Product Inspection (ECPI), ie fruit inspection, at the Port of Tauranga Zespri facility and/or industry cool stores to ensure product meets Zespri International Limited (ZIL) specifications.
The season runs from March to late November, and hours of work are dependent on ship loading so can be variable. Fruit Inspectors must be able to work weekends and early morning starts (from around 6:30am) and be flexible due to the moving nature of the shipping schedule during these months.
