Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Team Leader, Organisation and Position Management provides leadership across the delivery of the organisation and position management functional team. This position involves leading a high quality, effective and responsive organisation and position management function; ensuring that its services evolve to meet the operational and strategic workforce management needs of the organisation.
The Team Leader is an influential leader with specialist expertise and knowledge in the area of position management, in order to lift the organisation’s capability, education, and good practices of organisation and position management both from a foundational organisational design understanding through to system implementation.
While this role is meaningful and rewarding it's also part of a highly supportive and diverse People Services team. NZ Police are committed to the development and growth of our people. This role will also be critical in mentoring and working with a team to provide them with guidance and leadership to deliver the services NZ Police expects.
This role is a full time, fixed term role for 12 Months and is the perfect opportunity for an individual to bring a different way of thinking and doing things and make this role their own.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $110.425 and $117,014 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
