Ensure learning is delivered in a variety of formats supporting people’s individual learning styles, ensuring learning and development opportunities are accessible, inclusive, and applicable to the diversity of our workforce
Working with Policy Leads and Advisors to identify specific development needs
Manage the environment within which learning, and development content is stored, accessed, and delivered
Being the Policy representative on networked teams, particularly with the People Strategy and Capability team, using insights to continuously improve Policy Learning and Development
Working closely with SLT members to ensure the Policy Learning and Development programme is achieving strategic objectives for the group
Evaluate the effectiveness and comprehensiveness of existing learning and development initiatives utilising the organisation-wide Learning Framework

Mō mātou | About us The Policy team is primarily based in Wellington and advises Government on a range of tax and social policy issues. We research and develop policy options, and present policy recommendations to senior officials and Ministers. Unlike other policy shops, we also prepare our own legislation arising from those policy recommendations and our advisors support it through the legislative process.
