What you'll do:
As a Legal Executive, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing clients and files, supporting deeds arrangements, preparing conveyancing-related legal documentation, drafting various trust documents under supervision, and assisting with the firm's compliance. Your proactive approach towards upskilling in legal documentation processes will contribute significantly to your success in this role.
- Provide general secretarial and administrative support, including client and file management, filing and deeds support, arranging annual trust meetings, and assisting with billing
- Prepare conveyancing-related legal documentation, including bank loan documents, LINZ (e-dealing) setup, form preparation, and settlement statements
- Draft trust documents, trust resolutions, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Memorandum of Wishes under supervision
- Assist with the firm's compliance, including collecting and uploading client due diligence documents into the firm's document management system
- Provide reception support when required

- At least two years of experience in New Zealand with a strong working knowledge of legal secretarial or executive work
- You must have completed a New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Services

- Proactive attitude and a willingness to upskill in legal documentation and processes using established precedents and systems
