Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Programme Consultant to join our Academic Services team. As part of the advisory process, the Programme Consultant will provide detailed and at times complex career and study-related information about Auckland Online’s programmes, to guide students through the important decision-making process. Our Programme Consultants answer questions and solve problems via phone, email and live chat to guide prospective students through to enrolment. This role requires us contacting highly motivated professional individuals proactively and working through obstacles to enable them to complete postgraduate studies with us. This is a lead conversion role and is not for the faint hearted.
Our environment is fast moving, dynamic and is within our newly formed Student Experience Centre, providing Mana Enhancing experiences for all our students.
We are often the first point of contact to new prospective student leads, and believe a consultative approach is imperative to ensuring each enquiry through our Auckland Online website is a positive experience.
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. The salary range for this role is $62,400 - $67,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

At times you will need to work outside of standard business hours to support our marketing team to deliver Webinars and provide timely follow up to future student questions.

We’re looking for people who can tackle problems with the ability to think critically and logically and are driven to search for solutions which support our student’s academic journey.

- Be a motivated self-starter
- Search for creative solutions and can problem solve with ease
- Understand and convey complex information about entry requirements for a number of study options to a variety of audiences
- Always be looking for opportunities to improve our service and delivery
- Show experience in Lead Management and strive to exceed agreed targets.
- Utilise their call centre experience.
