IDEA Services provide forensic rehabilitation services for people with high and complex needs who have committed an offence and had contact with the justice system. We work in partnership with these people to make positive changes in their lives.
As a Schedule Coordinator you will be scheduling Support Workers to meet on-going roster needs to effectively deliver our support services. This is a vital role to ensure the people we support receive excellent services with minimal disruptions. You will be preparing advanced rosters as well as filling short-notice sick leave when needed.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in rostering and scheduling or high volume coordinator roles. You will be in frequent contact with our team of Support Workers to arrange shift cover. Great communication, customer services skills and the ability to build positive relationships will be essential. Changes and challenges can arise unexpectantly, so your ability to problem solve and come up with solutions quickly will be highly valued.

Previous scheduling or rostering experience highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great customer service skills
The ability to build rapport and positive professional relationships
The ability to plan your workload efficiently and work autonomously
High level of attention to detail
Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
