Job Description

This exciting role will involve performing cyber security assurance assessments, security risk assessments, control validation, and writing Certification and Accreditation memos on complex and critical line of business applications. What you'll do:

As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for working on complex systems within the INZ Portfolio. Your role will involve reviewing and assessing design documentation, performing security risk assessments, developing and performing control validation plans and audits. You will also be tasked with completing Certification and Accreditation memos and other artefacts. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interact successfully at various levels of the organisation and quickly establish strong relationships.

  • Performing cyber security assurance assessments

  • Building strong relationships with managers, staff, vendors and stakeholders
  • Providing cyber security risk assessments, advice, and assurance/audits on Microsoft platforms (Azure, Power Platform etc) and/or data warehouse environments


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Cyber Security Architect role will bring a wealth of experience in ICT security technology. You should have practical experience in making sense out of complexity, along with broad knowledge of ICT environments, business practices and systems. Your ability to provide cyber security risk assessments, advice, and assurance/audits on Microsoft platforms (Azure, Power Platform etc) or data warehouse environments is crucial. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills/experience is required.

  • Understanding of complex systems
  • Experience in reviewing and assessing design documentation
  • Experience in performing security risk assessments
  • Experience in developing and performing control validation plans and audits
  • In-depth knowledge of ICT security technology
  • Expertise in the specification of security solutions
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
