Join our Safety and Risk Team as a Business Continuity Coordinator! As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development of business continuity plans to ensure Auckland Airport's resilience and ability to recover from disruptions.
We're seeking an experienced professional with expertise in emergency management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify risks, develop contingency plans, and provide assurance on our business continuity capabilities.
Your key responsibilities are:
Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure Auckland Airport's resilience
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential disruptions
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement contingency plans
Provide assurance on the effectiveness of business continuity plans and emergency management procedures
Maintain accurate records and reports on business continuity activities
Facilitate cross-functional coordination and collaboration among departments and teams
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations related to business continuity

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
Business Continuity Certificate, Diploma in Emergency Management or similar
Experience in emergency management, disaster recovery planning, or business continuity (previous experience preferred)
Strong understanding of CAA compliance requirements and enterprise resilience principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to analyse complex information and develop actionable plans
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
