About the role:
The Transactional Banking platform is the heart of the bank providing all the cool online / real-time transactional services that power ASB. As a SAP Development Lead, you will be supporting the SAP squad on a large migration project. Your everyday tasks should be like these:
Work closely the BAs, Architects, Stakeholders, and wider SAP Team to deliver effective and efficient Technical Solutions on SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking (TRBK) platform that meets Business Requirements and ASB & APRA Controls.
Work with Suppliers, Vendors and Partners to design & implement SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking Platform (TRBK) platform and successfully convert Banking Services 9 to TRBK.
Support Customer Experience Owner (CXO), BA and team to create, refine Epics, Features and User Stories in ADO.
Support SAP Solution Architect to create HLSD and Functional Lead to create Detailed Designs and contribute/influence effective and efficient technical solutions.
Collaborate with the delivery squads to build & deliver the approved solutions.
Continuously look for opportunities to optimise customer/staff journeys using standard TRBK & BTP OOTB functionalities.
Actively support and promote SAP best practice and clean core implementations.
Support and perform audits to inspect that a clean core platform is maintained.
Actively work with the SAP Technical Engineers and build efficiencies within the Development Chapter and support the team with their training and development goals.
Provide thought leadership on TRBK implementation and SAP Best Practice.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong background and experience in designing and delivering ABAP solutions in SAP Banking Services.
Knowledge in S/4HANA TRBK, BTP and Fiori is an added advantage.

Ability to guide and mentor SAP Developers
Ability to mentor SAP Team members & end users on TRBK and other supporting SAP systems/tools/processes.
Proficient in agile methodologies and ability to run agile ceremonies.
Proven ability to deliver strong customer and business outcomes, with a can-do attitude and growth & learning mindset.
Ability to navigate challenging situations & people to achieve desired outcomes.
Outcomes you are responsible for:
ABAP Development: Lead the design, development, testing and implementation of ABAP programs for SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking (TRBK) Platform.
Technical Strategy and Planning: Define and implement technical strategies and best practices for ABAP development.
Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Facilitate/Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high quality and efficient code. Implement quality assurance practices.
Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of ABAP solution with other SAP modules and external systems.
Performance Tuning: Optimize and enhance the performance of ABAP programs to meet business requirements.
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with BA & functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed ABAP solutions.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and TRBK platform.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest ABAP development trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process and technical solutions.
