Geneva Healthcare is currently looking for Support Workers who are energetic, willing to learn, and have a caring, fun, and compassionate nature, to assist clients based in Castlecliff, Whanganui.
This is more than just a job – you will be providing invaluable support.
Clients require assistance with Personal care supervision i.e., assistance with showering and dressing, Meal preparation and Home Help duties.
As a Support Worker you will have the following responsibilities:
Assisting clients with personal cares and daily house tasks
Have strong communication and commitment to building good working relationships
Willingness to learn new skills
Promote independence in the home
Mobility assistance
Requirements:
Be able to start immediately
Be a good communicator, patient, and calm –someone who is genuinely interested in people and can build meaningful relationships
Honest, reliable with complete integrity
Must have a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license & own transport
Must be eligible to work in NZ
Subject to clean police clearance check
Immediate Shifts to start with:
Monday to Sunday 9am to 9.30am & Monday to Sunday 8.30pm to 9pm
Monday to Wed 7pm to 8 pm
*Candidate must be flexible to starting slightly earlier or later/longer hours
