About the role:

We are looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join our night shift team Timaru Processing site, previous cleaning experience and working as part of a team is preferred however not essential.

Being an Industrial Cleaner involves cleaning and preparing the Processing Plant for the next day. You will be using industrial cleaning equipment such as high-pressure washers and steam cleaners, whilst ensuring relevant processing equipment, processing areas, bins and other equipment is cleaned to agreed standards. This role also includes working in the chiller, this includes weighing and receiving product and thawing product ready for processing.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 4.30pm to 12.30am and Friday 4.00pm - 12midnight.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

The successful applicant will primarily be tasked with providing a high level of industrial cleaning expertise to our busy land-based seafood processing factory. Experience in industrial cleaning is desired but not essential as full training will be given on the job. A forklift license and previous forklift experience would also be valuable in this role.
