One of the client has Chronic knee pain which impacts their mobility, and other Ischaemic heart disease with left ventricular dysfunction based in Weymouth.
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Requirements:
Qualification in level 3 or 4 Healthcare, disability support or related field will be preferred
Competency in Hoist
Competency in Cardicular response
Competency in Orthopedic care
Own transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license
Legitimate NZ work rights
A clean Police check
Quick learner and confident
Well-prepared and organized
Available Shifts:
Monday to Sunday- 8am-10am, 14pm- 15pm, 17pm-19pm(with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available)
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily tasks such as low-level personal care
Usage of hoist equipment correctly and efficiently
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, developmental therapies and medication
Mobility, positioning, grooming, and general home help
