A trusted industry leader, specialised and dedicated to maintaining critical technical equipment for business operations throughout New Zealand. They are searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to ensure seamless financial processes and strengthen their finance team.

About the role

• Manage and drive all aspects of Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing for suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Lead a team of AP professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance and skill development
• Proactively manage vendor relationships and address critical situations with effective solutions
• Contribute to overall finance team success with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach and mentor a team
• Strong financial administration skills and experience managing customer contracts
• Proficient in Microsoft O365 and financial systems, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
