About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing services to people living in the Gisborne community.
In this role, you will use your nursing expertise, assessment skills, and professional judgment to provide community-based clinical support, education, and advocacy. Our clients have diverse support needs, from those recovering from injuries to individuals requiring long-term care to stay safe and well at home. No two days are ever the same!

- Strong clinical assessment skills and a desire to advance your career
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced, rewarding environment
- A great sense of humour and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Full Driver's License - must be able to drive independently
Essential qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a current NZ practising certificate
- 1-3 years of community experience
- NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a caring nature and the ability to connect in a multicultural environment
- Team player who can build professional relationships in the community
- Ability to self-direct and manage a busy workload
- Competent computer skills - email, computer-based assessments, smartphones, and tablets are used in this role
We offer you a fantastic work/life balance as this position is 32 hours a week working regular business hours, No shift or weekend work!
